Family estate for 4 generations, Château Chante Mistral covers 30 hectares of vines in Saint-Geniès-de-Comolas. The grape varieties of the Lirac appellation of the estate blossom on pebble hillsides, where sand and clay mix.
SOIL TYPES : Clay tray composed of large rolled pebbles
GRAPE VARIETIES : Syrah 80%, Grenache 20%
VINIFICATION : Harvest at optimal maturity of sugars and tannins. Separate vinification for the grape varieties; destemming and crushing, vatting for a maceration of 25 days for Syrah and 21 days for Grenache
TASTING NOTES : Silky red wine. Expressive and complex nose with aromas of red fruits and spicy notes. Gourmet and elegant on the palate.
FOOD AND WINE MATCHING : Ideal accompaniment to grilled meats, cold meats and cheeses. Serve between 14 ° and 16 ° C. Can be kept 8 years.
